Psalm 62
Psalm 62 has been a real encouragement to my heart. I love how much this song speaks to the truth of what man is really like. We always have problems in life, but the hope that we have is only found in God. David's heart is beautiful in that he is wholehartedly given to follow God and trust in Him, no matter what.

I was in the Dominican Republic over the summer of 2000. I was there to learn Spanish. My friend Keidy had put me up with her lovely parents and I staying in a room off to the side. I had already written a few songs to the psalms in English, so I thought, I should really write a psalm in Spanish. So I prayed that God would give me a song to work with. Some time passed and I tried to write a few things. And then, I woke up one morning with great tune in my head. So grabbed my guitar and bible and the puzzle pieces just matched. Coincidence? I think not…
